Watermelon. One of my most favorite fruit. Even I love this fruit so much rather then others. It was first found in Kalahari Desert of Africa and also more then 5000 years ago it was harvested in Egypt.
In Bangladesh, watermelon is so cheap. People can buy it within $1. And sometime we can found it at street food. Each slice we can buy for $.10 in BDT is 10 Taka. ( Depends on geographic area)

1. 90% watermelon is water ! So you can take it as your substitute of water.
2. It's official name is Citrullus Lanatus.
3. The first cookbook published in the United State in 1776 contained a recipe for watermelon.
4. The United States 5th in worldwide production of watermelon.
Before purchasing
* Check the watermelon wight. If its heavier then you can assume its going to be good.
* The color of watermelon should be good and without any of hurt sign.
* If any color got broken on it then stay far to buy that watermelon.
